At LYOUM, we love well-tailored clothing,

clean lines and spicy dishes. We love light fabrics, kissing under the bougainvilleas, and stories that never end.

We love stylish dresses and reimagined jackets, we like blue and white, lime-washed walls and hot teas, sea views and grandmother's recipes.

We feel at home in Tunis, Paris, or Palermo, in the crowded streets of Cairo or in the shade of the small streets of Le Panier.

In reality, we are Made in Mediterranean!

LYOUM means today, or the day in Arabic, pronounced in the Tunisian way.

It’s also a loving nod to Tunisia, where the whole story began in 2011. A new Tunisia, of today, carried by a generation of women and men dreaming of building something new.

It’s the name of a brand that we want to be contemporary, light, curious, and attentive to the moods of the day.

And then, in LYOUM there is YOU like you, all those who have been with us since the beginning. In LYOUM, we also have the impression of hearing LOVE... And then, there is also OUM like "Mother" in Arabic... and mothers, in the Mediterranean, that’s important.

We love this bond that has been woven between people and LYOUM...

When we think about it, today we feel surrounded by a large group of friends, like a big family, sometimes people who have been following us since the very beginning...

We don't always like the word "community" but here it's a bit like that: we like the idea that we are like one big tribe, all together.

"We made the choice to focus on short circuits,

by settling in Tunisia and making all our collections there. Here, we have patiently built a strong and privileged relationship with local workshops, small in size, which we have carefully selected. Dynamic and vital small Tunisian businesses for the economy, employing women and men with expert hands.

With workshops just a few kilometers from our offices and stores, we have the chance to go there at any time and to build relationships with all the teams that have become almost like family today.

At LYOUM, we do not want "disposable clothing,"

but clothes that can be worn every day, of quality, that last a long time. It’s all about the choice of fabrics: selecting materials that are pleasant to wear, with quality guaranteed by essential international certifications, and always at a cost that allows us to offer our products at the right price. The equation is not simple... But it occupies a large part of our style teams' time. Among our commitments is also the effort to avoid waste: we regularly reuse what remains of old fabrics for certain new items, we produce just enough stock to avoid unsold goods.
