At LYOUM we love well-cut clothes,

sleek lines and spicy food. We adore beautiful fabrics, we love never-ending stories and kissing under bougainvilleas.

We love stylish dresses and revisited jackets, we like white and blue, lime walls and lime teas, we love sea views and grandmother cuisine with our happy fews.

We feel at home in Tunis, Paris or Palermo, in the crowded streets of Cairo or in the shade of the small streets of Panier district.

Truth is, we are made in the Mediterranean!

LYOUM means today, or the day in Arabic, pronounced the Tunisian way.

It is also a nod of love to Tunisia, where the whole story began in 2011. A new Tunisia, today’s Tunisia, carried by a generation of women and men dreaming of building something new.

It’s the name of a brand we want contemporary, light, curious and attentive to today’s mood.

And then, in LYOUM there is YOU like you, all those who have been with us since the beginning. In LYOUM, we also have the impression of hearing LOVE... And then, there is also OUM as « mother » in Arabic... and you know, mothers in the Mediterranean, it's important.

"We love the bond that has been built up between people and LYOUM...

When you think about it, today we feel like we're surrounded by a large group of friends, like a big family, sometimes people who follow us from the very first steps...

We don't always like the word "community" but that's kind of it: we like the idea of being like one big tribe, all together. »

"We made the choice to bet on short circuits,

by settling in Tunisia and making all our collections there. Here, we have patiently built a strong and privileged relationship with local workshops, on a human scale, which we have carefully selected. Dynamic Tunisian small businesses vital to the economy, employing women and men with expert hands.

With workshops only a few kilometers away from our offices and stores, we are lucky to be able to go there at any time, and to build relationships with all the teams that have now become almost family-like.”

At LYOUM, we don't want to have "disposable clothing".

but clothes that can be worn every day, of great quality, that can be kept for a long time. It's all in the choice of fabrics: the selection of materials that are pleasant to wear, the quality guaranteed by the most reliable international certifications and always at a cost that allows us to then offer you our products at the right price. The equation isn’t simple... But it takes up a lot of the time of our style teams. In our commitments we are also careful to avoid waste: we regularly reuse what remains of old fabrics for some novelties, we produce just the right stock to avoid unsold stock.

"I think we've created a brand that looks like us.

At LYOUM, we like to talk; to talk loudly and quickly, to move without hesitation and without any problem from one language to another. Yes, we are talkative, so talkative that words are everywhere, starting with being on the clothes. We chat, we talk with our hands; we love this Mediterranean habit of spending long minutes saying hello. When you think it's over and it's all over again with a "so, what’s up? In fact we like it when it's a bit messy, the chaotic vibrations of the streets of a city that we discover. Arriving in Palermo by boat, getting out of a cab in downtown Tunis... We love the sensation of passing in a few seconds from the noisy bustle of the street to the refreshing calm of a patio."
